Apartments (Line-based)
Use the apartment transform to create an apartment building based on a single line.
How to:
- Draw a Line
- Click “Open flow builder”
- Select ‘apartment block’
- Edit the settings and outputs in either the Flow Builder or Properties
-
Size
- Set corridor width
- Set depth of the right and left sides independently
- Set the start and end depth
-
Dwellings
- Set your dwelling requirements, just like you would in the Usages editor
- Adjust the unit mix using the sliders
- Add or delete unit types to meet your requirements
<aside>
💡 Unit count in the apartment algorithm is not connected to the Dwellings properties in Usages. Instead, the algorithm creates multiple geometries - 1 for each unit. The resulting unit mix is based on counting these geometries, not from a mathematical property.
