Building Section usages are intended to represent the massing built form of buildings.
You can draw a building section type directly from the drawing toolbar. Anything in the Building tool is a building section usage.
Efficiency = removes walls and cores
Sell efficiency = removes walls, cores, and corridors
GFA:NRA (or NSA) is a calculated ratio of the Net Area to the Saleable Area
Size: Set the floor area of each unit type. in a Residential Usage
Price: Set dwelling prices by unit in a residential usage. Delete this property to set sale price by area (NRA) instead.
Cars: Set the number of car parking bays required for each unit type.
People: A user-input estimate of the average number of residents per dwelling of a specific type
Mix: A special slider input that adjust the percentage of each unit type in a geometric feature with a residential usage applied
Dwelling Count overrides the settings from the Dwellings section in residential Usages (including Unit Mix, Unit Size, etc). Use it to hard code a number of dwellings to a geometry without using efficiency and unit mix.
Rename the unit types by clicking the name.
Edit the number of that unit type by inputting a value
delete a unit type by clicking the trash can
add another dwelling type by clicking the + add dwelling type button
<aside> 💡 This is especially useful for single family or townhome massings, where the unit count is not driven by a percentage of area.

Residential usages include a unit mix.
Edit unit assumptions
Add more unit types by entering a new dwelling type name and clicking “Add +”
Adjust the unit mix by dragging the circles.
Add, delete, or move unit types
Delete a unit type by clicking the trash can next to the unit name, and selecting delete.
Rename a unit type by double clicking the unit name, and typing the new name.
