What is Lens?

Lens is our name for the data table. We call it Lens because it gives you a detailed view into the data in your projects.

Lens’s Intelligent search capabilities allow you to filter through all the vector data in your library and style it to meet your specifications. View your data in a familiar tabular format, and export your findings.

Sort

Sort the table results by any property value within the dataset, or by map distance to center

Filter

Filter the table and map results by any property in the dataset

Style

Style the map data using multiple options. Apply color based on dataset values or fixed colors. Add labels and outlines.

Export

Export the filtered table results as a CSV for use outside of Giraffe.

What Types of Layers can I filter and style?

Lens allows you to filter and style any Vector layer in Giraffe. This could be GeoJSON, .shp, Esri Featureservers, or even DXF files.

You can add a Lens to any layer that displays the Vector icon in the Layer tree
