  1. Toggle on quantity and rate below the formula box

  1. Highlight the text which corresponds to the quantity (A), and hit "Set quantity" to confirm. The same is done for the rate (B). Alternatively, the formula text may be manually entered into the quantity and rate "Match text" fields to the right.
  2. Select the unit applied to both the quantity and rate, and then save the Measure.

Example

A formula which describes a cost based upon the floor area of a feature, multiplied by a rate specified in its usage.

Formula is A*B, where A is the area of the feature, and B is the cost per unit area.

Or here, is a more complex option where the product of AC outputs the quantity, and B is the rate. Not how the entire formula of “AC” is typed into the quantity box.

Once defined, the quantity and rate are provided in the .csv export from Analytics. Here, toggling on the option to report component values will also include quantity and rate values.
