What is a Space?

Use your space like Zillow for your portfolio. Set your defaults, explore your portfolio, and share your data.

A “space’ is a spatial filing cabinet. It stores a collection of projects, data layers, and visual settings.

Spaces contain:

• A filtered list of ‣ from your Workspace, displayed on a Portfolio Layer
• Data Layers
• The Lens (Data Table)

Use Spaces to:

Curate your Home Space

• Set your default start location
• Load your favorite data every time you open Giraffe
• Only see the projects you are working on

Explore your portfolio

• See your portfolio of projects, mapped
• Understand your projects in context
• Filter and style your project list with Lens (Data Table)

Share with Clients

• Share a space with your clients to curate their view
• Demonstrate optionality between multiple sites
• Curate their experience with Guest access (enterprise only)

Understand context

• Use spatial data layers, satellite views, and your portfolio layer together
• Get the big picture of your portfolio and the surrounding areas
• See overlays like flood plains, wetlands, contours, protected environments, and more!

Prospect for new sites

• Use Lens (Data Table) to filter and style data layers (like parcels) to find sites that meet your criteria
• Create projects from data outlines

Visualize markets

• Create multiple portfolio layers
• Map competitor sites next to your own projects
• Create layers of comps using CSV imports or bulk project creation

Explore a Space

To go to yourHome Space and the Spaces UI, click the Home button, top left.
